On September 23 it has become Transparency International Spain, a Commission or Working Group on “Legal and social Measures against corruption” with the aim, among others, to formulate a set of concrete proposals, practices and broad spectrum social, in order to combat major social problem of corruption in Spain. Once concretized, these proposals will be to get the Political parties, in order to be considered that when preparing its next electoral programs for the general elections on next December.
At the first meeting of the Commission they have intervened twenty members of the same, which has brought together over a hundred proposals to prevent and combat corruption from very different perspectives and institutional, political and legal contexts.
The composition of this Commission is varied, its members belonging to different areas such as the judiciary, anti-corruption prosecutor, security forces, law enforcement agencies, anti-fraud offices, universities, tax agencies, and NGOs, among others.
