The migratory programs for investors, known as Golden Visas, encompass serious risks of corruption, according to the European getaway report: inside the murky world of golden visas, presented by Transparency International and Global Witness, in which TI-Spain has participated. As these organizations point out, the risks stem from insufficient due diligence, the existence of conflicts of interest and a wide margin of discretion on the part of the States.
