Transparency International Spain and the Unified Police Trade Union (SUP) have signed on June 8 a Framework Cooperation Agreement in order to contribute to greater transparency in the functioning of trade unions and ensure compliance with the principle of accountability. The SUP also seeks with this agreement to consolidate a policy of transparency in the functioning of the union itself, as the cornerstone of its business and become a benchmark in transparency management for other trade unions and professional associations. The Agreement has been signed by Mónica Gracia, Secretary General of the SUP, and Jesús Lizcano, President of TI-Spain.
